These General Conditions govern the provision of eSIM services by ConnectLingua Sarl CHE-335.842.969 / CH-217-3563176-7 (hereinafter referred to as “ConnectLingua”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), accessible through the website travelesim.ch. By using our services, you agree to comply with these conditions in their entirety.

2. Definitions

• eSIM: Refers to an embedded SIM card that allows users to activate mobile plans without a physical SIM card.
• User: Any individual or entity that uses ConnectLingua’s eSIM services.
• Services: The eSIM provisioning and related services offered by ConnectLingua through travelesim.ch.

3. Scope of Services

ConnectLingua provides eSIM services for compatible devices, allowing users to activate mobile plans for international travel and local use, subject to the terms outlined herein and on travelesim.ch.

4. Registration and Account

• Users may be required to register an account on travelesim.ch to access and manage eSIM services.
• Account information must be accurate and kept up to date.
• Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

5. Service Availability

• ConnectLingua endeavors to maintain uninterrupted service availability but does not guarantee 100% uptime.
• Temporary service interruptions may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Network Provider Changes: The availability, performance, and coverage of network services provided through our eSIMs are dependent on third-party network providers. We reserve the right to change, modify, or substitute network providers at any time without prior notice. Such changes may affect the quality, availability, or range of services. Additionally, the IP address associated with the service may or may not correspond to the geographical destination of the eSIM. This may impact the ability to access certain location-specific services or content. We shall not be held liable for any disruptions, changes, or limitations caused by adjustments to network providers or IP address allocations.

6. Service Usage

• Users agree to use ConnectLingua’s eSIM services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• The eSIM services are intended for personal use and may not be resold or redistributed without explicit authorization from ConnectLingua.

7. Device Binding and Transferability

• Please note that once an eSIM has been installed and activated, it becomes permanently bound to the device on which it was activated.
• The eSIM cannot be transferred, reinstalled, or reused on another device under any circumstances.
• Users are kindly reminded to take good care of their device to avoid damage, loss, or replacement situations, as the eSIM service will no longer be usable if the original device is lost, damaged, or replaced. ConnectLingua shall not be held responsible for any inconvenience or loss resulting from such circumstances.

8. Charges and Payments

• Fees for eSIM services are detailed on travelesim.ch and are subject to change with notice.
• Users are responsible for all charges associated with their use of ConnectLingua’s services.
• Payments are due upon purchase or as otherwise specified on travelesim.ch.
• We offer the following payment options:
  • Twint
  • Bank Transfer

9. Limitation of Liability

• ConnectLingua is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use our eSIM services.
• In no event shall ConnectLingua’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the user for the services.

10. Termination

• Users may terminate their account at any time by following the instructions below:

    • Email: Enter the email address associated with account.
    • Message: Please delete my account.
  • Submit the Form.
• ConnectLingua reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if a user breaches these General Conditions.

These General Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising under these conditions shall be exclusively resolved by the courts of Switzerland.
